Capitec relaunches new Branches

The Problem
Just like their Banking App, Capitec had thousands of branches across the country. Most of which were outdated and with the launch of the Banking app, these branches felt like a different company altogether.

We often only consider UX within the heart of all digital design and creativity. Yet, all physical spaces are just as much of an experience of your Brand.

A Collaboration
Along side Marketing, Creative Direction team, industrial designers and branch engineers - we setup to explore the new physical experience for what is now known as Pioneer Branches.
Leveraging UX principles defined within the context of the value proposition of the newly launched mobile banking App, we rebuilt 12 physical spaces that would unite the digital with the physical.. These were to pioneer an era of change.
These pioneer branches continued to explore new ways to simplify branch experience, bringing the gap digital & physical experiences.
We then experimented with installing beacon technology within the branches. This technology would drive education to users when near to the branches. We were mindful to not be a big-brother, and so we built a segmentation modal that could define clients behaviour, & segmented clients into clusters of banking profiles.
